Junior Frontend Developer

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Frontend Developer who is passionate about crafting clean, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with exposure to modern frontend frameworks. You will work alongside senior developers to build and maintain frontend components, implement UI designs, fix bugs, and continuously improve the user experience across our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web pages and UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement UI/UX designs from Figma or similar tools into functional, pixel-perfect frontend code
• Assist in developing and maintaining features using React.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following team coding standards and best practices
• Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues across different browsers and devices to ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and render dynamic data on the frontend
• Participate in code reviews, team stand-ups, and sprint planning to contribute to the development workflow
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility (WCAG standards)
• Use version control (Git) to manage code changes and collaborate with the development team
• Stay current with frontend development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals (Must)
• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework or library — React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with responsive design principles and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab
• Understanding of browser developer tools for debugging and performance profiling
• Ability to work in a team environment, take constructive feedback, and meet deadlines
• A portfolio, GitHub profile, or personal projects demonstrating frontend development skills
• Strong attention to detail with a good eye for UI design, spacing, and visual consistency

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to TypeScript and its usage with React or other frameworks
• Knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, or other UI/UX design tools
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how frontend communicates with backend services
• Familiarity with package managers (npm/yarn) and build tools (Vite, Webpack)
• Interest in or experience with Next.js, state management libraries (Redux, Zustand), or CSS-in-JS solutions
